Many community celebrations capture the history and flavor of the region, while offering residents a chance to come together for fun and fellowship.  We also take great pride in our regional schools' programs noted for outstanding academics and diverse activities.  The photo to the left features a Nevada High School Homecoming Queen.  Below: This photo from Bushwhacker Days captures one of the many historical re-enactments visitors enjoy.
